The counterpart to valuing “peace of mind” is tending to “peace of heart.” While spiritual lessons often point to giving space to grasping thoughts that are rooted in desire and aversion and to allowing the mind’s attention to open into a field of unbounded awareness, fewer teachings point to reorienting from the pulls and defensives of the human heart to the peace expressed in the unbounded heart center.

Like Adya and teachers before him, I’ve spoken of the “horse of the mind” which ceases to violently jump and buck or dig its heels in when pushed or pulled, once it’s given a wide, open pasture in which to roam and to find its natural expression. Similarly, the “horse of the heart” withers in confinement or tends toward breaking when overburdened; whereas, it finds healing, rest, and revival in the peaceful arms of the heart center and in the unboundaried field of easeful equanimity and presence therein.

I invite you to this day of tending to “peace of heart” and celebrating the heart center that reverberates universal intelligence and unconditional love.

VIDEO REPLAY/AUDIO DOWNLOAD: A link to the video replay will be emailed within 48 hours to registered participants and will be available for viewing through March 5. You must register prior to the intensive to have access to the replay. Registration includes an audio download set, which becomes available one week after the intensive.
