In this talk, Mukti addresses flow as a means to relate to being challenged by change, or a lack of change. Referring to her training in Chinese medicine, she describes basic treatment principles that can be used to address stuck energy and how these principles are at work in the spiritual practices she teaches. She offers examples of applying these principles to facilitate one’s return to the natural state, a state that is in harmony with life.
“When we’re really investigating, the thinking mind grows its capacities beyond black or white—it can register the nuances of paradox or juxtaposition.”
“Part of our opportunity as spiritual practitioners is to see where our mind concretizes, where our emotions snag, where we might get triggered, where identity is located in ways that cause friction or disallow us to be to be in sync with what is happening.”
“When our body, mind, and being are more in flow, we feel more open, we are more open to life and how it’s presenting, we are more agile, we can respond differently.”
“It’s important to do your best to be conscious but also to know none of us are perfect. The more at peace we are with that, the better it all goes.”
