In this grounding guided meditation for realization and embodiment, Mukti invites the direct experience of what is often referred to in Zen as sitting like an “iron mountain.” She reveals how the entire energetic system of the mind and body—with all its identifications, goals, and efforting—can come to rest and root at the very base of one’s seat, so that the palpable, immovable, and abiding sense of complete stillness and being becomes known.
This 30-minute meditation includes a guided meditation followed by a period of silence and a bell.
Recorded during the Philadelphia Retreat Day in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on March 16, 2013.
